Maypole Crowns and Bells
meet Kim, she will be making crafts and maypoles with your little ones
Welcome all children and parents! We will be making Maypole Crowns and Bells for when we dance around the maypole at SEEDfest. This will be one of the many wonderful events at the festival on the weekend of May 25th for you to enjoy!
We have lots of willow for making the crowns and will pick as many flowers as we possibly can in the days leading up to the fest, but feel free to bring any flowers you can gather for your crown and/or some extras to share if you would like. Dandelions are a GREAT addition to the crowns, so if you see some growing feel free to pick ‘em and bring ‘em to fest. Making Maypole Crowns and Bells will be a fun time! **make sure to leave some behind for the bees though #savethebees
Sarah and Jonah (her son) will be leading the way with bells.
We will also make anklets with bells on them using a few different materials. Bells are harder to find so if you have some lying around please bring them or better yet, if you have any materials you think will work well with either of these crafts please do feel free to bring them along and share with others. I know I have lots of feathers that I will end up adding in for anyone to use!
