Sound Healing with Dam Chhoi Lama
One of the oldest forms of self-healing, is sound healing resonance, entrainment and intention, the healing power of the voice, harmonics and musical intervals, chant, and rhythm.
Singing bowls have been recognized for centuries in Tibetan tradition since at least the time of 12th century. They are made of alloys of seven different metals, connected to the seven principal planets, come in various dimensions, and produce an enveloping sound that soothes the mind. There are usually 3 techniques of playing the bowls: Beating, Encircling, along the rim, and adding of water to change the tone
Sound Healing is an imperative practice to cultivate positive thinking, right mindfulness for all aspects of life. Mindfulness is about experiencing the moment with an attitude of openness and freshness. While practicing meditation through all the classes: Sangha, Dharma and Buddha. Dam Chhoi demonstrates his traditional musical gift of various instruments that he learnt during early stage of his life in Himalayan monastery in Nepal.
